After about 2 years of trying to conceive, we got pregnant with the assistance of 2 types of injectable fertility medications. At our 6 week ultrasound, we were told we were having twins - two yolk sacs were visible.  We returned for our 12 week ultrasound, 2 days after Christmas, and as soon as the tech put the scanner on my belly, it was very apparent that we were having triplets! We were in awe and although the thought of 3 little ones at one time was daunting, we were ecstatic.  Our 3 miracles came into the world very early at 24 weeks, 2 days after St. Patrick's Day.  My cervix just didn't want to hold in these rascals. Our daughter, Marissa, was born first at 1 lb 5.5 oz, and our two sons followed: Nolan at 1 lb 6 oz, and Freddie at 1 lb 6.7 oz.  They are all fraternal.  After a 15 week stay in the NICU with only the typical micropreemie issues (so very thankful), our babies came home on July 2nd.  This last month has been a sleepless whirlwind but each day brings a new development with each of them and we are grateful for each day.  They are all approaching 7.5 lbs and so far do not have any major residual issues.

We learned that we were expecting Triplets on Sept 7th, 2006.  We went for a follow-up ultrasound, after our 1st showed a yolk sac and another "mass" they couldn't define to us.  We were so afraid we were losing yet another precious baby.  We conceived naturally, but had several losses during first trimester.  The sonographer was so sweet.  She  said "here is a perfect little heart beating", Matt and I were so happy!  Then she followed with, "and over here are TWO more!"  We were ecstatic!  TRIPLETS WOW!!  We arrived home to tell our 2 1/2 year old Chloe that she was going to be a BIG Sister...3 times!  We learned we were having 2 identical and a fraternal, all baby girls!  I went into labor at 25 weeks and we all thought they were coming.  After several days in L&D on Mag Sulfate, my labor stopped, and I was informed I would spend the rest of the pregnancy in the hospital on bedrest.  They stopped my labor 2 more times.  At 33 weeks and 1 day, I was too dialated to stop things.  IT WAS TIME!

Jocelyn Pearl, Farrah Grace and Silvie Mae were born on March 11th, 2007!  They were so perfect, so beautiful and so healthy!  We are so VERY BLESSED.

They are eight months old!  How time has flown by, it seems like we just brought them home form the NICU yesterday!

I had been on the pill for 15 years straight.  I had gotten married in May 2005 (at 35 yrs).  When I had my yearly checkup with my obgyn, I asked her when I should get off the pill.  She said "When do you want to get pregnant?" I said January or February 2006.  Why then she asked?  I told her I just wanted to start in the new year but that wasn't the whole truth.  As weird as it sounds, I had this chinese birth chart since I was in highschool.  It had never been wrong for anyone.  It said the my chances of having a girl were great if I got pregnant in Jan or Feb.  She told me that normally it takes 2-3 months to get your cycle back to normal after being on the pill so long.  I stopped taking the pill in October.   The last week of October I had the flu and a bladder infection.  I went to the urgent care to get pills.   They asked me if there was any way I could be pregnant.  I said I didn't think so, but there could be a chance.  They asked me if I wanted a blood test.  I declined.  They only gave me pills that were safe for a pregnant woman and sent me on my way.  A day or so later I was bleeding so I assumed I got my thing.   Then after a week or more of bleeding, it didn't stop.   I went to the OB/GYN and she checked me out.  She had me do a urine test and sent me for an ultrasound.    As I was getting the ultrasound, the woman said "Yes you are pregnant."  I said what? The she moved the wand over and said "Oh here is the other one - your having twins".   I was alone because my husband was in Indiana doing contract work and called him with the news.  We were shocked.  I got pregnant within days of stopping the pill.    I continued to bleed and the doctor said that as long as it was very light it would most likely go away.   It eventually did.  Like I told you, I went to work, went to my gym and thought everything would fine.  At 18 weeks I began to bleed again.  I rushed myself to the OBGYN office and was sent for ultrasounds.   I was diagnosed with the "Incompetent Cervix" and rushed in to get a cerlage which is when the sew your cervix shut.   I was 108 lbs pre-pregnancy and was horrified by the thought of stretch marks and getting fat.   I was not allowed to do anything but use the bathroom.  I had to get checked every two weeks, had rounds and rounds of steroids shots, had the RH factor so had to get those too.  I never had morning sickness or food adversions either.  I slept in our spare bedroom because not only did I snore, but I had terrible heartburn that I tossed and turned all night.   When I had to pee, I literally had to slide myself off the bed and kind of crawl.  I got that lightning crotch pain.  My face was one big rash, I was veiny and I never thought I could return to normal.   At my checkup at 34 weeks (Labor day) I went in.  My doctor said my urine showed too much protein and I was toxic or something like that.  She broke my water (I did not even feel it) and I was more than ready to give birth.   For 8 straight hours I was put on that contraction drug and after a full night and part day I had my twin boys via c-section.  Yes, it was quite a rough pregnancy, but I would do it all over again.  They are 2 now and things are fantastic.

We have been on a 6 year journey to have children.  Finally after our 4th IVF try we ended up pregnant.  Since we knew how many embryos went in we new there was a possibility of multiples.  I was 6 weeks pregnant when we did the ultrasound for the gestational sacks.  It was at that time we found out we had triplets but they did not want to confirm it until the ultrasound for heartbeats was done at 7 weeks.  We were very happy to just have a positive result; like I said long time coming.  At that point we started planning on three even though we knew that I was extremely high risk. That is how we found out.

We found out we were pregnant on December 6th, 2005, I was six weeks. The dr does a routine ultrasound to check dates and what not. So, two weeks later, at eight weeks, we had the ultrasound. The lady started and said there was two and that we were having twins! My husband about passed out and I couldn't believe it. I had always wanted identical twin girls but never even dreamed that it would really happen. We thought that we were having a boy and a girl but we found out in February that they were identical twins, just like I had always wanted. I was so excited! That is also when we found out that we had TTTS, so it was also a scary time. The girls were taken by csection at 31.5 weeks, on May 29, 2005.

Hi, we found out we were having triplets at 5 1/2 months.  My husband had a hunch we were having twins, there was no doubt in my mind that we weren't, they don't run in either of our families, but some how he knew.  These triplets, were spontaneous so we thought we were having a boy or girl...SUPRISE!  We were having triplet girls and less than 2 months to prepare!  They were born 3 weeks ago on July 9Th.  We are so blessed to have four beautiful girls.

I hope you all join this community and tell us about yourself ! If you like someone go to their profile page and make them your friend or send them a message.

I'm Kerry W Mann Jr. I am 26 years old. I have been with my wife Jenell for 12 years now. I have 4 kids all of which are 2 or younger! Figure that out. We have an amazing 2 year old named Lilly. We recently delivered triplets. 3 more girls! It was spontaneous and completly unexpected.

As of right now our girls are 21 days old and we are so blessed at how well they are doing. We may be taking one home this week.

Other than my family I'm a pretty big webgeek. If this site isn't proof enough.  I developed this website from an awesome open source solution called ELgg. I work for Netconcepts.com a great internet developement company.  Prior to Netconcepts I ran a successful web business from my home.

We look forward to the support of this community as we bring our girls home! And I hope to help out as many multiples' parents as I can along the way.
