http://www.manntriplets.com/my-life-story-with-4-kids/

I have to say thank you to everyone for all of your support.  I have been having a really rough couple of past weeks.  Everything has been going wrong.  I have been so sick for the past few months, but haven’t been in to a Dr, now the girls are sick.  I did take them in though.  They all have viral infections and Alyssa and Katie have that plus ear infections.  The Dr said it came from Lilly, when she was sick, probably catching it from school.  So we are all sick now, luckily Kerry isn’t sick yet, lets keep our fingers crossed.

OK, i have to tell this sad story.  Monday I put the girls down for their morning nap, i always change them before putting them down.  Well I was so busy with things, i forgot Alyssa likes to take her diaper off.  Well a big mistake.  They didn’t want to take a nap, but i had things to do, so i let them talk to each other up stairs, that was a big mistake too!  So after a about 10 min i went up there and was smelling the most awful thing ever, to my surprise Alyssa took her poop filled diaper off and threw it everywhere, I mean everywhere!  I had so much fun cleaning that up, while they were all looking at me, laughing in their own ways!  I never thought that could happen to me!  But it did!  Then everything from that point on was just getting worse.  I got them dressed and brought them downstairs, i had to go pick up Lilly early from school to take them to the Dr.  I was trying to pick up a little and i kicked a ball, trying to kick it into the playroom, boy that didn’t work, it ended up hitting my curtain rod just in the right place in the living room and hit it precisely in the right spot and took down the rod and somehow broke and snapped.  Needless to say so did I…things just got worse from there!  I was crying so hard I was laughing at all the things that were going wrong.  I had to stop and take a min out.

While my time out I called aunt elayne.  She is always there for me!  She had some great words of wisdome!  She always seems to calm me down and help me.  She is also coming to my rescue!  She is helping me this weekend.  THANK YOU!  I cant wait.

Then I also have my cousin Lea!  What can I say about her, well what cant i say!  She also is always here for me.  She is my best friend.  She goes to school full time and works part time, but some how she found a way to come over yesterday to help me clean up and take care of the girls.  It happen to be the right day because I cant believe i actually forgot my anniversary with Kerry!  Yes i have been so wound up with things, I forgot.  Its been 5 years that we have been married, but can u believe its going to be 14 years that we are together.  Dec. 27th this year!  Kerry is the best father and husband anyone can ask for!  We are so blessed to have each other and our 4 beautiful baby girls.  So back to my story.  Lea came to our rescue and helped with everything.  After we got them to sleep she stayed here so Kerry and I could go out.  We had a lovely dinner.  And Kerry surprised me with a dozen beautiful roses.  Thanks Kerry!  Thanks Lea.

Also to my rescue are some great women i never even met.  I belong to a wonderful moms of multiples group.  I had posted some of my problems and stated I dont know what to do anymore, so these women wrote the best advice and help anyone could offer.  They are all parents of multiples so they understand where I am coming from.  Most of them offered to come and help me out and stay with me for a few days!  What some wonderful women!  If I lived close i would take them up on their offer!  So thank you to all of you!  We have to meet some day!  Thanks, im doing better with all the support and help!

http://blasdellzoo.blogspot.com/2008/09/hgp-week-5-master-bath.html

We are now in Week 5 of the Holiday Grand Plan. Hard to believe a month has gone by already!

So how did go in the Master bedroom last week? I am still working on mine. I figure my master bath won't take too long so I can really get the master bedroom in tip top shape.

Here is the link to the Master bathroom list.

Our Holiday Prep this week includes:
~ Make one batch of Holiday Goodies.
~ Make one extra meal for freezer again labeled HOLIDAY MEAL.
~ Buy two canned food items from menus (get 2 of each item, one to use and one to donate to food drive).
~ Buy 1/8th of TO BUY gifts. Save all receipts, note return policy before buying. Ask for gift boxes
~ Wrap and label packages. If needing to ship, get some shipping boxes now and store packages in them.
~ Work at least 1 hour a day on homemade gifts.
~ Take toys and books that are outgrown, clean them up and prepare them for donation to toy drives.
~ Make list of toys and books that children would enjoy and that would fit in their rooms and that would work with what they have. Keep it hand for telling family what they would like.
~ Inventory clothing and have another list of clothing items needed. Measure the children and put measurements on this list.

Here is list of the remaining weeks so you know where we are heading:

Oct 12 -- Guest Room
Oct 19 -- Kitchen

http://jjaezlenzendorf.blogspot.com/2008/09/i-took-plunge-puppy-and-caught-

Three things that don't go together, right? They don't just three things that happened in the last day.
First, yesterday I took the plunge...to one nap a day for the kids. They did well and it felt good to have 2 straight hours to myself. Normally someone was up within an hour of going down when we had 2 naps. So it will be nice to have some quiet time to myself. We are still working out all the bugs but so far things are going well.
Second, Alex started saying puppy clearly yesterday...it was all he would say. Now he has said puppy for awhile but not clearly for others to understand. So another exciting step in growing up.
And third, I am FINALLY caught up on the blog. I thank you all for your patience. In the last two days I have put 8 posts on the blog to try to bring everyone the current in events in our household.
I hope you have enjoyed the posts and pictures. I will try to keep up now that I have a little "free time".
Love, Jen

Some days I wonder why we have toys for these monkeys. It can range from ice cream buckets to tupperware to hangers.
Monday the kids decided the best thing to play with was the laundry baskets...and of course each one needs their own (good thing I do a lot of laundry and need a lot of baskets...lol)!
Now this is a LARGE load of laundry...lol!
Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

http://jjaezlenzendorf.blogspot.com/2008/09/trip-across-state.html

This last weekend was a busy one. Due to not making it across the state the first weekend, we made plans to go this weekend. After finding someone to take my hours at work, it was all systems go. Jeremy worked extra hours during the week so he could have a half day on Friday. After packing up everything we need to function we headed over to my parent's place first. My mom had Great Grandma Kedinger out from the nursing home for a few hours. The kids have not seen her since November last year(way too long ago). And they have changed SO much! So we stopped for a short time there and then headed out to venture across the state. Although we were running late we made it in time for dinner with Nana, Papa, Aunt Jeanne, Uncle Brent and their three cousins Mackenzie, Morgan and Madalyn. Saturday was filled with seeing the kids' other 2 great granparents. The kids were fascinated with Nana's magnets on the fridge, so that was the "hot" toy for the weekend. Although the kids had some sleeping issues, a good time was had by all. Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.
Love, Jen
The kids were all sitting nicely until the camera came out...then they scattered...go figure!
Liz tried on many shoes...do I smell a shoe fetish?!?!?
Here are 4 generations of Lenzendorfs...
And 4 generations of Pluemers...
The kids looking out the window watching the fish in Nana's pond...
Zach playing with Papa...he climbed up there himself...

They were EXHAUSTED byt he time we hit the road home...Shrek had to help hold Zach's head up...
Alex was in the middle of reading...
and Liz gave up on drinking from her sippy cup...
But after we woke up...we were hungry...I guess mommy did not get the snack out fast enough...both Liz and Zach resorted to eating their toes :)

http://jjaezlenzendorf.blogspot.com/2008/09/sick-children-rummage-19-months

September started out not so great for the kids as they caught a cold. Unfortunately that messed up plans to take a trip to see Nana, Papa, Great Grandma Lenzendorf and Great Grandpa Pluemer. It was a simple cold and they did get over it and we healthy for about 4 days and caught another cold. Again lots of sneezing and snot everywhere. Through both colds the kids had okay moods. Their sleeping was not too messed up due to it being hard to breath. We are getting over this last cold and hope to be fully healthy in a few days.
The second weekend of September was my second rummage of this year. We had a great turnout Friday and got rained out on Saturday although a few sales were made. The majority of the money made is going into the kids college accounts and some will be used to get their first potty chairs. Yes that is right....potty chairs. We have a very aggressive goal of trained by 2 but understand completely that it is not the norm.
The kids are now 19 months old. They are showing more and more signs of being toddlers. They are talking more and more everyday. They are thinning out as well with all their running around. They are doing a great job of sharing and following direction. Of course we are very proud of them.
So here are some pictures from the beginning of September. Enjoy.
Love, Jen

http://www.manntriplets.com/triplets-update/

I only have a minute to write this as all of us here in the household are really sick.  But I know some of you like to hear how the girls are doing.  So here is the latest from the last Dr visit:

Alyssa Lynn is 19lbs 4.8 oz

Katie Sue is 20lbs 11.2 oz

Emma Elizabeth is 20lbs

The dr said they are right on track and they are doing great!  Well until now when all of us are sick!  They have been so good.  They listen really good.  I can call them or ask them to do something and they usually do it.  Were so blessed to have such a beautiful and very healthy family!

On the other hand, poor Lilly she is missing school, she has been off the last 2 days cause she is so sick!  She loves school so much!  Actually Monday she got stung by a bee for the first time.  I just missed it the teacher said.  She was playing on the jungle gym outside and put her hand directly on the bee!  She told the teacher that the monkey bars bit her! HAHAH how cute!  Shes fine, at least i know shes not allergic!  Ok thats it for now.  Hope everyone is doing good!  Please leave some comments to let me know someone is reading this!  Take care

http://jjaezlenzendorf.blogspot.com/2008/09/harley-davidsons-105th-b-day-ri

August ended great for us. I think I have mentioned this before but did not have the pictures. We had an adult day and went on a beautiful bike ride on the 29th in celebration of Harley Davidson's 105th birthday. The weather was perfect - not too warm and not too cool, sun for the whole day. At some points it felt as if we were int he movie regardng some of the scenery. Thanks to my mom and my sister for watching the troops for the day. We were one of 28 bikes in the ride and 2 out of about 50 people. Biggest ride we have ever been a part of so far. Thanks to my Uncle Kevin for setting the whole thing up; it was great! There has been some talk of another ride in the next couple weeks to see the fall color changes. We are looking forward to it! Here are some pictures from the day.
Here is everyone meeting at Uncle Kevin's house...

Our first stop in Elkhart Lake for lunch...

Picture on the go...traveling up a slight hill... many bikes in front of us...and there were more behind us...
and around a corner...
At our second stop...we lined the street...

I know not everyone is a bike enthusiasts, but wanted to share our day.

Love, Jen
